Cowboy Heroes

Growing up in Texas you don't have much choice to who your
heroes are from the time you take your first breath of air
to the day you go see the good lord himself. There is some
thing about cowboys that makes a man have to stand up
and salute and want to emulate. The cowboys I will list
here are just a few of the great cowboys who have influnced
me to be a better person man and husband and citizen.
To these men I say thank you and you will never be
forgotten.

It was the Cowboy who opened
up the west to expansion. First
thru the big cattle drives on the
open plains and then to the
pioneers they escorted in wagon
trains over rough terrain and
indian country. These men
lived a hard ferious life
moving from cowtown to
cowtown working for
sometimes a dollar a month
with thier six gun and big
brimmed stetson hat
and winchester rifle
they carved a legend
and changed America
forever.
